Community guidelines

Game Battle only works if arguing about games stays fun. A short list.

Do

• Make your case. "The map design is better" beats "it's just better".
• Disagree with the argument.
• Report things that break these rules rather than replying in kind.
• Vote for the game you actually think is better, even when it is the unpopular pick.

Don't

• Attack people rather than opinions.
• Post hate speech, harassment, or sexual content.
• Spam, advertise, or drop link farms.
• Create extra accounts to stack votes. This is the one that gets accounts banned fastest, because it damages the thing the whole site is for.

How moderation works

Reported content goes into a queue that a human reviews. If enough independent reports arrive on the same item it is hidden automatically while it waits — that is temporary and fully reversible.

When we hide your comment or restrict your account, you get a notification saying what happened and why. Every moderation action is recorded against the moderator who took it.

Appeals

If you think a decision was wrong, contact us. Moderators are people and people are sometimes wrong.
